Diaphragm walls, also known as “DWalls” or Barrettes, are reinforced concrete walls combining discrete panels to form a single continuous wall. The rectangular shape of a DWall is designed to resist bending and shear forces associated with lateral soil loads which makes them an ideal solution for deeper excavations.
Continuous flight auger piles (CFA) are cast-in-place piles, using a single continuous hollow stemmed auger which is ideally suited to unstable soil conditions and urban environments. The auger is drilled into the ground to the design depth, then the auger is slowly retracted , removing the drilled material. In parallel, concrete is carefully pumped through the hollow stem to construct a continuous pile without defects. Reinforced steel is then lowered into the wet column of concrete to create the pile
Bored piles are high-capacity, cast-in-place piles bored using a Kelly bar and auger system that can be constructed in a wide range of soil and rock conditions . They can be installed as individual foundation elements, as part of a pile cap group or a retaining wall.
Sheet piling helps retain soil, using steel sheets with connecting edges. Sheet piles are installed in sequence to design depth along the planned excavation perimeter or seawall alignment. The connected sheet piles form a wall for permanent or temporary lateral support. Anchors and/or internal bracing can be used for additional support if required.
Ground Anchors are essential for slope stabilization and retaining walls. Ground anchors provide enhanced stability and support, perfect for securing slopes and excavations.
Soldier piles or contiguous pile walls are vertical structural elements used in construction for temporary earth retention. Typically installed before excavation, they provide support and prevent soil collapse. Commonly employed with horizontal timber/precast panels or shotcrete for added stability
